Shoreline Chamber Of Commerce: Vista Life Innovations' Tour De Shore Returns As In-Person Event For 13th Annual Cycling Event & Fundraiser

Vista Life Innovations, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the personal success of individuals with disabilities, announced that its annual Tour de Shore, a cycling and fundraising event, is back as an in-person event on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Tour de Shore 2021 is presented by Wells Fargo.

The event, which typically draws over 200 riders annually and features routes of various lengths, will return to the Westbrook Elks Lodge #1784. Cyclists will travel along Connecticut's scenic shoreline at the peak of the fall foliage season. Following the ride, participants will meet back at the Westbrook Elks Lodge to celebrate with great food and music, a raffle, and an awards ceremony.

Funds raised by Tour de Shore 2021 will benefit the Vista Endowment Fund, a supporting organization of Vista Life Innovations, which helps to ensure that Vista continues to thrive and provide outstanding services to individuals with disabilities well into the future.

The annual Tour de Shore was held as a virtual event in 2020 in response to the pandemic. For 2021, the event will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual ride options for participants.

To build excitement for the event, a Tour de Shore Kickoff Party will be hosted by Zane’s Cycles of Branford on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. The party will start with a group ride at 5:30pm, followed by food, drinks, and raffle prizes.
