Spray The Hose! Hit A Siren! Local Heroes Day Set For June 22

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — First responders are there for the community 24-7. On June 22, people can not only celebrate those heroes, but learn more about their jobs.

North Branford presents Local Heroes Day on Wednesday, June 22 at 6 p.m. at the Stanley T. Williams Community Center parking lot, located at 1332 Middletown Ave., in Northford.

"Let’s thank our local heroes who take care of us every day let us celebrate our first responders, learn about their jobs and explore their vehicles," it's noted. "Spray the hose and hit the siren!"

Special guest K9 Chance and officer Cosenza will be on hand. The event is sponsored by Little Heroes Ice Cream and co-sponsored by the North Branford Public Library’s and the North Branford Parks and Recreation Department.
