Suspicious Incident Involving Toddler At North Branford Park

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Police are investigating after a suspicious incident Friday at North Farms Park on Branford Road. A mother and her 2-year-old daughter were at the playground when a silver mini van parked a woman got out of the passenger side of the vehicle.

The woman walked to the playground where she sat on a swing and attempted to converse with the child. The mother and child then left the park.

The woman is described as between 4o and 50 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall.

This was an isolated incident as no similar calls have been made to this department, police wrote in a Facebook post.
