Town Looking To Hire Seasonal Laborers In the Public Works Department

NORTH BRANFORD, CT —The town is accepting applications from "qualified" individuals for the position of seasonal laborer in the Public Works Department.

Assists with all types of manual labor related mainly to grounds, as well as road and facility maintenance. Work involves routine and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs of the town's public grounds and facilities.

The position assists permanent, full-time employees with the execution of their duties. Applicants must be 18 years of age and have a valid Connecticut driver's license. The salary is $20 an hour with no benefits, as the job is seasonal.

Hours are 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., May 1 through Labor Day and 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The position runs from April 1 through October 31.
