Two Students From North Branford Awarded John Smyth Scholarships

Jamison O'Brien and Liam Faughnan were recently both awarded the Smyth memorial scholarships at the Knights of St. Patrick's in New Haven.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT —North Branford residents Jamison O’Brien and Liam Faughnan were recently both awarded John Smyth Memorial Scholarships at the Knights of St. Patrick’s in New Haven.

Both were selected from a pool of candidates for their achievements in academics, athletics and community service.

John Smyth was a longtime member of the Knights and the scholarships are awarded through the Smyth family and the Knights.

Jamison is a graduate of North Branford High School and the son of Gregory and Amy O’Brien and Liam is a Notre Dame High School graduate and and the son of Brian Faughnan and Julie Austin.
