Vista Arts Center Gears Up For March Art Show

Opening reception to be held March 5

Works of art created by the talented artists of the Vista Arts Center will soon fill Scranton Memorial Library in Madison as part of Vista Arts Center’s March Art Show.

The show—Vista’s first of the year— will feature over 60 works of art in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, photography, clay and mixed media. All pieces were created by artists in Vista Arts Center’s fall and winter classes.

An opening reception will be held on March 5 starting at 5:30 p.m. The evening will include performances by Vista Arts Center’s Acting & Improv and Musical Theatre classes. Select cast members of Vista Arts Center’s recent production of “The Wizard of Oz” will also present a special encore performance. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to all art enthusiasts.

The Art Show will run through the end of March. Many of the works will be available for purchase.

The mission of the Vista Arts Center is to provide quality arts programming to a diverse, adult population that promotes self-expression and learning in a nurturing noncompetitive environment.
