13 Reasons Why: A Discussion For Parents At North Haven Public Library

An educational forum will be held about suicide in adolescence specifically related to the new released show on Netflix "13 Reasons Why."

From North Haven Library:Julie Falcone and Trudi Hewell from the Parent Child Resource Center will be providing an educational forum about suicide in adolescence specifically related to the new released show on Netflix “13 Reasons Why". This program will be held at the North Haven Memorial Library, 17 Elm Street, North Haven, on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. Discussion will include: how to recognize potential risk factors, warning signs of suicide, and how to have a caring conversation with your children and teenagers.


Falcone and Hewell have worked at PCRC for several years, both in the role as IOP Clinicians serving children ages 10-18 years old. They are both trained in crisis management and provide ongoing safety and risk assessments.
