19th Annual Looking Forward Fashion Show

Several models for the Looking Forward Fashion Show met recently at La Moda Fashions in Hamden. In the spirit of the fashion show they became the window display while beginning the process of preparing for the 19th Annual Looking Forward Fashion Show to be held June 1, 2015, 5:30 PM at Anthony’s Ocean View, New Haven. From left to right the some of the models include Cristina Laudano, Maria Tomei, Vicki McKenney and Caryn Sullivan.

The Fashion Show brings together 500 or more cancer survivors, patient advocates and business leaders for a fun-filled evening of fashion and camaraderie to support patients undergoing treatment.

Looking Forward continues to be a multi-faceted, nationally-recognized integrative wellness, support and education program that helps cancer patients and their loved ones deal with the many issues related to cancer. It provides patients with complementary services to assist with their recovery process. Programs include energy balancing, yoga, guided imagery, medical Pilates, holistic nutrition and emotional support services. Fashion Show proceeds will enable these important programs to continue for patients undergoing treatment at Smilow Cancer Hospital and its affiliated care centers.
