Identities Released in Double Fatal Accident in North Haven, Third Person Injured: UPDATE
A car left the roadway and struck a tree on Interstate 91 just after 1 a.m.

UPDATE, 8:15 A.M.
Connecticut State Police have released the names of the the three people involved in the double fatal Interstate 91 accident in North Haven, which occurred just after 1 a.m. Friday.
Keith E. Burwell, 26, of John Olds Drive in Manchester, was the driver and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Virginia Brown, 24, of Overlook Avenue in New Britain, was pronounced dead at Yale-New Haven Hospital as a result of the injuries she suffered in the accident.
Matthew Wilson, 25, of John Older Drive in Manchester suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident.

Kelly Grant, a state police spokeswoman, said Friday morning that the accident remains under investigation.

NORTH HAVEN, CT - Two people were ejected from their vehicle and died in a motor vehicle rollover crash in North Haven on Interstate 91 early Friday.
Chief Paul Januszewski said the North Haven Fire Department responded to a serious motor vehicle rollover crash in which two occupants were killed.
North Haven Engine 1 and Rescue 1 responded to I-91 Northbound in the area of exit 10 at about 1:15 a.m. Friday for a report of a one-car motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, rescuers found a small, white passenger vehicle had somehow left the roadway and crashed into a tree, causing extensive damage to the vehicle, which either rolled over or rotated into the woods, officials said.
The force of the crash ejected two of the three occupants from the vehicle. Two occupants, a male and female in their 20s, were killed.
The female was taken by ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, and the male was pronounced at the scene.
A third occupant, a male in his 20s, was able to exit the vehicle under his own power, and was later transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with critical injuries, officials said.
No names are being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The make, model, and year of the vehicle are still being determined.
North Haven Fire cleared the scene at 1:45 a.m., according to Lt. Scott Martus, Division 3 Commander, who was the fire department's incident commander on scene.
The Connecticut State Police are investigating the crash.
