$255K Embezzlement Case Involving North Haven Business Resolved
The case of a woman accused of stealing $255,800 from her employer in North Haven has reached a conclusion.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Meriden woman accused of embezzling $255,800 from a North Haven business was granted accelerated rehabilitation in court Wednesday, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. Sharon Cordero, 48, faced two counts each of first- and second-degree larceny.
Cordero will also have to make restitution payments. Cordero was a bookeeper for a North Haven business and reportedly deposited funds intended for that business into her personal account, according to the Record-Journal.
