Police are encouraging residents and businesses to share surveillance videos that could be valuable to crime investigations in North Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are encouraging residents and businesses to share surveillance videos that could be valuable to crime investigations in North Haven.
“Over the past two weeks we have responded to over a dozen calls for vehicle burglaries, in addition to 4 stolen cars, 3 commercial burglaries, and one call for an armed individual near an ATM, who was subsequently arrested after a short foot pursuit, who was found in possession of a handgun as a convicted felon,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
“We want to remind the public that as more and more homes and businesses equip themselves with cameras, those video clips may be of value to our investigations. Even after an arrest is made or a suspect is identified, footage from the public can strengthen our cases against those who wish to commit crimes in our town. Video clips, still pics, etc., can be emailed to crimetips@northhavenpd.com.”
