Boat Rollover Closes Lanes on I-91 in North Haven
The accident led to lane closures on both sides of the highway.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The accident that shut down lanes on both sides of I-91 in North Haven on Wednesday morning was caused by a boat rollover, according to Connecticut State Police.
The accident occurred at about 10 a.m. on the northbound side of 1-91 between Exits 9 and 10 and closed the left lanes on both sides of the highway, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The New Haven Register reports a truck towing the boat crashed in the center median of the highway and the boat rolled over on its side, resulting in a fuel spill.
Emergency crews, and the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, responded to the crash and to clean up the spill.
