• ‘Threat Of Violence’ Leads To Lockdown, Early Dismissal Of North Haven High School, Middle School: PD (patch.com) — North Haven families were briefly on edge Tuesday after a phoned-in threat of gun violence prompted lockdowns and early dismissals at North Haven High School and Middle School. Police flooded the campus, later determined the threat was not credible, and stayed to help with dismissals and reassure parents, students, and staff that there was no ongoing safety concern.    

• Here's How Much North Haven Received From 'Nickel-Per-Nip' Program (patch.com) — North Haven just received more than $12,000 from Connecticut’s Nickel-Per-Nip program after nearly 245,000 nip bottles were sold in town over six months. That money is earmarked for local environmental efforts like cleanups, composting, and recycling initiatives, giving the town extra resources to tackle litter and sustainability projects.
