1. $250K Lottery Prize Sold In North Haven (patch.com) — North Haven residents might want to check their favorite convenience store, as a $250,000 winning CA$HWORD scratch ticket was sold at J & H Food Mart on Maple Avenue. The prize was claimed by a West Haven resident, and officials note that under a 2025 state law, lottery winners' names are no longer released without written consent.

North Haven takes action after 5-day study reports 12,000 speeding incidents near schools (fox61.com) — North Haven is installing six speed cameras near two schools after a five-day study found more than 12,000 speeding incidents, with most drivers over the limit and one clocked at 66 mph.
