• $250K scratch-off lands in hands of West Haven lottery player (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A lucky West Haven player just won $250,000 on a CA$HWORD scratch-off bought at J & H Food Mart in North Haven, putting a local store at the center of a big payday. Connecticut Lottery records show the prize was recorded September 11, and while the winner's name isn't public, the retailer gets bragging rights.
