** NOTICE** TOWN OF NORTH HAVEN, TAX COLLECTOR’S OFFICE 2nd Half -- 2010 SEWER USE FEE BILLING

The SECOND HALF of the 2010 Sewer Use Fee billing is due and
payable April 1, 2011. Payments must be received by (or bear the U.S.
Postal Service postmark dated no later than) May 2, 2011 to avoid penalty/interest.

As of May 3, 2011, interest will accrue at the rate of 1½ % per month
or fraction thereof (18% per year), on all unpaid Sewer Use fee billing
balances, computed from the original due date for the second half, i.e.
April 1, 2011. INTEREST CANNOT BE WAIVED.

If any prior year Sewer Use fee billing or the first half of the 2010 Sewer Use fee billing is due, payments will be applied to the oldest outstanding bill first. Interest will always be paid first.

Once the second half 2010 Sewer Use fee bill becomes delinquent, a
minimum interest charge of $2.00 will be collected. Failure to receive a bill does not invalidate the Sewer Use fee bill. Please be advised, 2010 Sewer Use fee bills -- containing payment stubs for both the first and second half, where applicable -- were mailed in October 2010; there will be no separate mailing for the second half billing.

The Tax Collector's office in Memorial Town Hall is open from 8:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except legal holidays).
Payments may be made in person, via our online payment system at
www.town.north-haven.ct.us, or mailed to the Tax Collector’s Office,
at Memorial Town Hall, 18 Church Street, North Haven, CT 06473. If
a receipt is desired, a self-addressed stamped envelope must accompany your payment. Thank you.
