Armed Robbery/Carjacking Incident Reported: North Haven Police

One of the men approached the victim with a handgun and demanded her vehicle, police said.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating an armed robbery/carjacking incident that occurred at a gas station Saturday afternoon.

At 2:45 p.m. police responded to the Mobile Gas Station at 276 Washington Ave. Police said a woman arrived at the gas pumps, and she was approached by a group of three men in their late teens and early 20s, who were in a 2010 Altima or Maxima, police said.

One of the men approached her with a handgun and demanded her vehicle, police said. The victim fled into the store and then reported the incident to police, police said.

Both vehicles were last seen getting onto I-91 south, police said. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or believes to have information about this incident is asked to contact officer O’Keeffe.
