It certainly looks like we dodged a bullet, with 9.5 inches of snow reported in North Haven this morning, according to the National Weather Service. Still by far the biggest snow of the winter season, but much better than the 20-30 inches that could have been dumped on the area.

The hour-by-hour outlook for North Haven, according to weather.com, shows there’s still going to be plenty of wind (as high as 25 mph) but snow isn’t expected to return until 5 p.m. and when it does, it should be just flurries.

More steady snow is expected between 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and that should be it for the night but it’s going to be cold with temperatures in the teens.
