Bomb Threat Evacuates Businesses In North Haven: Police
A portion of a plaza in North Haven was evacuated due to a bomb threat, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A portion of the plaza at 117 Washington Ave. in North Haven was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Thursday night, according to police.
Police said several area businesses were also evacuated as a precaution. Since receiving the threat, police said “no further suspicious activity” has occurred.
“We anticipate the area will be cleared shortly,” police wrote in a post on Facebook around 8:20 p.m. “Please avoid the area for the time being.”

In an update, police said the evacuated portion "has been checked and deemed safe."
"The area is now open," police said. "North Haven officers and detectives will continue to investigate."
