LWV Hamden-North Haven celebrates Women in History Month

The League of Women Voters of Hamden-North Haven, in celebration of Women in History Month, present a book donation to the residents of Hamden and North Haven, from author, Jill S.Tietjin who co-authored "Her Story, A Timeline of the Women who changed America." Each book was presented to each library's director, Marian Amodeo, the new director of the Hamden Public Library and Lois Baldini, the Director of the North Haven Library, from Eileen M. O'Neill, representing the LWV Hamden-North Haven this March 2013. The book "Her Story" includes an illustrated timeline that highlights the contributions of American women since the 1500s through today.  A must read from your local Public Library!
