The 11th Annual Day of Wine & Roses Wine Maker's Application
The North Haven Rotary Club will be hosting its 11th annual "Day of Wine and Roses" wine tasting competition on Sunday, September 30, 2012.
Dear Winemaker:
The North Haven Rotary Club will be hosting its 11th annual “Day of Wine and Roses” wine tasting competition on Sunday, September 30, 2012. Once again, it will be held at the Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop on 39 State Street, North Haven from 1:00-5:00 p.m. We invite you to submit samples of your homemade (self made) wine, and join us for a day filled with great food, entertainment, and of course, an enjoyable Day of Wine and Roses competition.
To enter the competition, you simply submit 4 bottles of wine for each category in which you wish to participate. Three awards will be given in each category from the home/self made wine division: White & Specialty, Single Varietals, and Blended Red.

A few years ago we added a new category to our competition called the Pro-Wine division, which includes self made wines that were made utilizing a commercial facility. There will be one award for this category.

As a participant, you will receive one complimentary ticket which you may use to attend without cost. If you are able to assist us, we also respectfully request that you sell at least one additional ticket at $30.00 per ticket. All funds raised will be distributed to area charities, as well as to the three North Haven Rotary Foundation scholarship programs. We look forward to seeing you, rain or shine!
