Connecticut's 2026 Kid Governor Tessa Hallinan, a North Haven native, will visit her hometown library alongside a member of her Cabinet to speak with fellow students, families, teachers, and the public about their platforms, how kids can get involved, their terms in offices, and how fifth graders can participate in the Kid Governor program.
Tessa was elected as Kid Governor after a vote by over 10,000 fifth graders from around Connecticut in November 2025. Her platform is Everyone Belongs, focused on inclusion for students with disabilities.
