League of Women Voters to Host Meet and Greet with North Haven Legislative Candidates

The League of Women Voters of Hamden/North Haven will host a Meet and Greet featuring the four candidates seeking election in North Haven’s 34th Senate District and 87th House District on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Mildred A. Wakeley Community & Recreation Center, 7 Linsley Street, North Haven.

Incumbents Paul Cicarella and David Yaccarino, along with challengers Brandi Mandato and Kathleen Kimball, will participate. 

Each candidate will have approximately five minutes to introduce themselves and discuss the issues they believe are most important to the community. Following the presentations, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with the candidates individually, ask questions, and learn more about their positions on issues that matter to North Haven residents.

The Meet and Greet provides voters with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates in a nonpartisan setting and to become better informed as they prepare to cast their ballots in November.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
