Car Burglars Thwarted In North Haven: Police

Several attempted car burglaries were reported in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Several attempted car burglaries were thwarted early Tuesday morning when the suspect found the vehicles were locked, according to North Haven Police.

Police said attempted break-ins occurred in the Grove section of North Haven, along with Elm Street, May Street and the Bailey Road area.

“In both instances, vehicles were locked and the suspects left,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Make yourself a harder target. Remove valuables from your vehicle and lock your cars. Remember to report all suspicious activity to the police as it occurs or as soon as you discover it.”
