Car Hits 100 MPH While Fleeing From North Haven Police: Video

Police called off the pursuit and are investigating thefts from vehicles early Wednesday morning. Watch video of the fleeing vehicle here.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven Police called off a pursuit after the fleeing vehicle reached speeds of more than 100 mph early Thursday morning in North Haven. Police were investigating suspicious activity at about 1:35 a.m. when they located a vehicle on Lexington Gardens off Middletown Avenue.

The vehicle sped past police and officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver wouldn’t stop. (Watch the video at the end of the article).

“After the fleeing vehicle accelerated over 100 MPH, police ended the chase for safety concerns,” police said in a post on Facebook.
