Clintonville Manor To Be Demolished Soon

A new assisted-living facility for seniors is planned at the site of the former North Haven institution.

The former Clintonville Manor building will be demolished later this winter and a new assisted-living facility for seniors will be built in its place, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports Maplewood Senior Living is planning a 90-unit, two-story development at the site of the Clintonville Manor, which closed five years ago.

A previous plan for senior housing was discussed in 2012 but wasn’t well-received by neighbors and was eventually shelved, according to the Register.
