Connecticut March Madness, Chocolate on the Line
Connecticut is alive and well in both the Women's and Men's Final Four and Gov. Malloy has a chocolate wager going.

Honestly, who among us has a perfect bracket?
Put on your fortune-telling hat and give us your picks for who will face off in the Men's and Women's teams in the National Championship game.
Both the Connecticut Women's and Men's teams have dribbled into the Final Four, making it the ninth time in NCAA history a school has had dual representation in basketball. UConn now accounts for three of those entries, both teams made the Final Four in 2004, 2009 and this year.

Could the Huskies win both the Men's and Women's tournaments? Rare, but not as rare as you may think. Connecticut was the third school ever to sweep collegiate basketball in 2004 with both teams taking home national titles. The University of Central Missouri was the first to accomplish that feat in 1984 followed by Iowa's Northwestern College in 2001.
and Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels have regional gourmet chocolate riding on Sunday’s Final Four game between the UConn women and Notre Dame.

The Huskies and the Fighting Irish will meet at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Sunday night, and Governor Malloy is betting the #1 Huskies will come out ahead.
“I’m planning on a nice ham dinner, courtesy of the Governor of Kentucky—it will be wonderful to finish it with South Bend chocolate,” said Governor Malloy. “The Fighting Irish are a formidable opponent with dedicated fans, but I have confidence that Geno and the UConn women will show them a great game, even if the scoreboard ultimately proves disappointing for Indiana.”
“UConn is #1 for good reason, but we don’t call them ‘Fighting Irish’ for nothing. We’re looking for a great game,” said Governor Daniels.
If the UConn women win, Governor Daniels has offered a selection of gourmet chocolates from the South Bend Chocolate Company, located near the Notre Dame campus.
Should Notre Dame win, Governor Malloy will send a basket of UConn-themed Munson’s Chocolate from the famed Connecticut chocolaterie with a shop adjacent to the University’s Storrs campus.
In the Men's Basketball Tournament Elite Eight, Southwest region powerhouse and No. 1 seed Kansas was upset by a Cinderella-ish Virginia Commonwealth University. No. 11 seed VCU will now take on No. 8 seed Butler, Saturday at 6:09 p.m.
First team All-American Kemba Walker and his Huskies squeaked by Arizona in the Elite Eight. Coach Jim Calhoun's No. 3 seeded Connecticut will take on No. 4 seed Kentucky, Saturday at 8:49 p.m.
In the Women's tournament, Notre Dame and Stanford were first to break into the Final Four. Connecticut is looking to keep up its annual dominance after blowing by No. 2 seed Duke. Before the Huskies game, Stanford and Texas A&M will play Sunday's at 7:00 p.m.
Could we see another net clipped for coach Geno Auriemma's record-breaking Huskies? Can Stanford emerge from its fourth-straight Final Four appearance? Can Kemba Walker lead his Huskies all the way?
You tell us.
