Several Hospitalized, Lanes Reopen After Crash On I-91: UPDATE
Officials say the crash involved two tractor-trailers and multiple cars on I-91 in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT —In an update, Connecticut State Police say all lanes have reopened on I-91 South in the area of Exit 9 in North Haven.
(Original post) NORTH HAVEN, CT — Crews are on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on I-91 South at Exit 9 in North Haven involving two tractor-trailers and multiple cars, according to fire officials.
Officials say patients are being evaluated and several are being taken to the hospital. I-91 South is closed at Exit 9.

"Several injuries reported and ambulances being redirected to respond North from Exit 9 in order to load patients and expediently drive to area hospitals," fire officials wrote in a post on Facebook. "Expect significant delays on the highway and surrounding secondary roads."
