Credit Cards Stolen from North Haven Home Burglary Used in Multiple Locations: Police

The home was burglarized while the residents were sleeping and police are trying to identify the suspects who used the credit cards.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying two individuals who used credit cards that were recently stolen during an early morning residential burglary in North Haven.

On Dec. 2, a Standish Avenue home was burglarized at approximately 6 a.m. Police said the resident and her two teenaged children were home sleeping while the male suspect entered the home in search of items.

The resident’s purse, along with other items, were stolen.

Later that morning, two individuals used the proceeds of the burglary at two different locations, according to police.

In Wethersfield and Hartford, two individuals used a credit card to purchase a large amount of items. The two were captured on surveillance footage entering the stores.
