Crossing Guards Needed In North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The North Haven Police Department is seeking school crossing guards for the town.

“We have IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for dedicated individuals to join our team,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Serve the community by protecting the children of North Haven as they walk to and from school every day. School Crossing Guards work a brief shift in the morning and in the afternoon. We work OUTDOORS and on SCHOOL DAYS ONLY so unlike the requirements for many part-time jobs, you will work NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS! Seniors welcomed.

“REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check/Drug Screen. This position often requires short response times to the job site so candidates in or adjacent to North Haven are preferred.”
