CVA Hosts Greet and Meet and Information Session on Feb. 10 at NHFPL
Connecticut Votes for Animals invites New Haven County residents to get involved in the law making process of animal-friendly legislation
NEW HAVEN RESIDENTS INVITED TO BE AN INFLUENTIAL PART OF THE ANIMAL LAW MAKING PROCESS IN 2016
HARTFORD, CT — On Wednesday, February 10, Connecticut Votes for Animals will host a meet & greet and information session at the New Haven Library from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. to help New Haven residents better understand how to be an influential part of the law-making process of humane animal bills.
This year the Connecticut legislative session, which starts on February 3, will consider several significant pro-animal bills that will be of interest to many constituents in the state. As an example, one proposed bill will require a court appointed advocate to represent the interests of the animal in any animal cruelty case heard in Connecticut courts. Several other bills are still in the process of being drafted but all will be ready for the start of the legislative session next month.

This is a no cost event and all residents in the New Haven County including animal-friendly voters are invited to attend and help Connecticut Votes for Animals in demonstrating to elected officials that Connecticut cares about animals and needs stronger pro-animal legislation.
