Daytime Gardeners Donate Books to North Haven Library

Daytime Gardener Brenda Howlett, Brittany Pearson, Reference Librarian, Sue Griffiths, Director of North Haven Memorial Library, and Sally B

Author and speaker, Neal Sanders, presented at a Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut program and kept the audience well entertained with his humor and descriptions of gardening experiences. Mr. Sanders has written a series of four mysteries featuring the Garden Club Gang, a group of four women who become involved in solving, or committing, crimes. The mysteries have a horticultural flavor and reveal Mr. Sanders experience with gardening and his great sense of humor. After some Daytime Gardeners read a couple of his books, they decided to donate the series to the library so they could be enjoyed by the community.
