Daytime Gardeners of North Haven members and guests enjoyed a presentation by President Sally Brockett on the benefits of mason bees. These non-aggressive, native bees are super-pollinators for gardens and orchards.
During this hands on workshop, Walter Brockett, Master Gardener provided instruction on assembling bee houses. Attendees completed a bee house kit to take home to both encourage mason bee pollination in their gardens.
