Drug Dealer Charged In Death Of Mother Of 3: North Haven Police

Police say the man provided heroin containing fentanyl to the 29-year-old overdose victim, who was the mother of three children.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven man has been arrested in connection to the overdose death of a mother of three in 2017. On Oct. 2, 2017, emergency crews responded to a Lincoln Street residence on the report of an overdose. The 29-year-old woman was pronounced dead by paramedics inside the home at 2 a.m., according to police.

Police said the investigation revealed that Jason Marshall provided heroin containing fentanyl to the overdose victim. Marshall fled the state and has been living in New Hampshire, according to police.

Marshall, 30, turned himself in to North Haven Police on March 5. He was charged with sale of narcotics and tampering with evidence from the October 2017 death investigation, police said. He was held on a $50,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Meriden Superior Court.
