Community Update

Remember the snow? Of course, how could we forget? The biggest snow storm in this region. The Town of North Haven did a great job considering the severity of this once in a life time event. The residents of this fine little town(more skateboarders per capita than any other town)were all very happy with the work the town has done. All except one person. Mr Gary Amato. You obviously don't get it do you Mr. Amato. You know nothing at all about working for a town. I worked for the town, for the police and retired after 20 years. I think I know a bit more about how a town works than you will. Despite all your moaning and complaining, I assumed you were about 85 years old, until I saw you. Are you from a different alte4rnate North Haven? You're attacks on the town employees, you insult and dominate every single town meeting. You want to effect change, well then, run for office. . . .oh wait. . didn't you try that already? You seem to think the entire town agrees with you. . so how many votes did you get?<br/><br/>The snow fell up to five inches an hour. . . you have no clue Mr. Amato. You are a taxpayer and so am I. I bet you call the public works if they left your recycling bin upside down. What do you do if your mail is a few moments late. Mr. Amato, from Victor to Lynn, from top to bottom you have talked about things you know nothing about. Is this a personal attack that I am making? No, it's not. . you put your fat foot in your fat mouth every second you talk, from your stupid signs to you pointless attack at town meetings, so i don't need to attack you. Your obvious lack of tact and education are on view for all the town to see. I mean, you can take your followers, all three of them and maybe get out there and plow yourself. How about trying balancing the budget in town. You can run for office. . .oh wait. . sorry. You tried that already.<br/><br/>I worked with many many excellent employees from the smart courageous work of the police, the amazing work of our wonderful firefighters and right down to the public works, streets and highways. Hey, Mr. Amato, how about seeing how things were handled in New Haven, or East HAven. Your garbage gets picked up, the streets get plowed and clean and yet you still complain. You know, you could always run for office. . . .oh. .yeh. . .<br/><br/>So Mr. Amato, the next time you want to complain about everything that this town does, from the saleries to the benefits, to the employees, take a look at yourself and ask your self this one question: I wonder if there are any condos in Florida. Hey if the town needed you, they'd call right? So it's time to pack up, take your little signs, I'll even help you pack. I mean, why stay in a town that you hate and you claim hates you? I mean, anyone with the least bit of common sense would leave right and. . . oh yeh. . . sorry. . .forgot. . . .
