Election 2016 Results: North Haven Vote Totals for President, U.S. Senate and Local Races

NORTH HAVEN, CT — While Hillary Clinton collected Connecticut’s 7 electoral votes in the presidential election on Tuesday, voters in North Haven preferred Donald Trump by a margin of 7,197 to 5,735.
In North Haven, Trump earned 53.6 percent of the vote, Clinton received 42.7 percent, while Gary Johnson earned 319 votes, or 2.3 percent, and Jill Stein received 143 votes or 1 percent.
In the race for U.S. Senate, Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., amassed 7,627 votes on multiple lines and his opponent Dan Carter, a Republican, received 4,993 votes in North Haven.

In the 3rd U.S. Congressional race, Democratic incumbent Rosa DeLauro received 7,788 votes on multiple lines while Republican Angel Cadena collected 4,933 votes in North Haven.
In local races, longtime Democratic State Senator Martin Looney ran unopposed in the 11th District and received 982 votes in North Haven.

Republican Len Fasano also ran unopposed in the 34th Senatorial District and received 9,365 total votes on multiple party lines in North Haven.
Republican incumbent Dave Yaccarino won a fourth term in the 87th State House District with a victory over Democratic challenger Steve Gifford.
Yaccarino received 9,580 votes while Gifford garnered 3,273.
Democrat Patricia Jackson-Marshall received 4,715 votes and Republican Laurie Brangi received 7,413 votes for registrar of voters.
