
This year’s festival features the annual feis, or Irish dance competition, taking place in the newly renovated fairground’s field house. There will be hundreds of competitors in colorful traditional costumes in a marvelous spectacle of grace and skill.
Among the musical acts are The Rogues, voted number one Celtic band in a prestigious Battle of the Bands, heads the musical line-up with its high-energy collision of Celtic, rock and world styles The band has made waves and earned acclaim in a diverse mix of venues.
In addition, musical performances will be featured at scheduled times by the following artists: The Clancy Legacy, Pride of New York, MacTalla Mor, McLean Avenue, The Screaming Orphans, Tara Gold, Matt and Shannon Heaton, Damien and Sally Connolly, Keltic Kick, Pride of Moyvane, and the New Haven County Firefighters Emerald Society.
The two day event will also include an Irish shopping and craft village, Gaelic football matches, cultural and agricultural displays, children’s activities, rides, set dancing and an international menu of diverse food items.
