Lecture on Traprock Ridgelands

The North Haven Historical Society and the Peter’s Rock Association will co-host a program featuring Peter LeTourneau, Ph.D., who will speak about the traprock ridgelands of the Connecticut Valley—“The Boldest and Most Beautiful”—of which Peter’s Rock is a part. LeTourneau is Adjunct Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University and a visiting scholar at Wesleyan University. He is a published author and lecturer, having done extensive research about the geology of the area.

The program will be held at 2 p.m. at the Masonic Temple opposite the green in North Haven.
