Matryoshka Nesting Dolls Workshop

Russian artist, storyteller, and historian, Marina Forbes will offer a unique workshop on the folk tradition of Matryoshka (wooden nested doll) painting.

This workshop is open to adults and families with children ages 6 and up and is a great opportunity for families to work together to create a unique Russian piece of folk art. 

Participants can work on 7, 5, 3 or 1 piece matryoshka sets. 

The price of the wooden doll sets to be painted is from $10 – $55. 

This material fee will be collected by the instructor at the time of the program. 

Throughout the workshop, Russian music will be played and during a brief break from painting, a demonstration of a traditional Russian dance will be performed.
