Shamrock Open to Benefit 2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade

Time again to meet up with new and old friends at the Shamrock Open to be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Laurel View Country Club, Hamden.

This annual golf tournament for the benefit of the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade has become one of the most anticipated golf events in the area.  The co-chairs, Patrick Smith and Cliff Lynch, have put together a full day of activities beginning with an 8 a.m. registration and a shotgun start at 9 a.m.  The entry fee is $125 per person which includes an 18-hole golf green fee, cart, lunch at the turn, and tournament gift.  Dinner, including open bar, will be held immediately following at the Knights of St. Patrick Club, 1533 State Street, New Haven.

The registration deadline is August 12, 2011.  Register and/or pay on line via PayPal on the parade website at www.stpatricksdayparade.org; checks can be mailed to St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, Attention Shamrock Open, P.O. Box 2, New Haven, CT. 06501, made payable to AIS (Associated Irish Societies).
