Cosmo and I look forward to this event each Summer. The event is held in the Winter as well, but we prefer the warmer weather. Last year, there were so many participating shops that it was difficult to visit them all. Each participating shop invites you in to sample a different wine. It's a great opportunity to peruse the wares of the Chapel Street and Broadway area shops, meet new people, see old friends, and try out some interesting wines.
The event happens again next Thursday, July 25, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, and we highly recommend this experience. Here is how to participate:
Grab your friends and come down to the Study at Yale. You can find more information about parking and ticket prices on the www.infonewhaven.com website.
Your registration price includes a "Flights of Fancy" wine glass, map of participating shops, entry into a grand prize drawing and 20% off of your favorite item in one of the Downtown New Haven shops. You can register online via the infonewhaven website or in person at the Study. You must be 21 years of age to participate.
At 8:15pm, return to the Study at Yale for coffee, dessert, and the prize drawings.
