Four Hospitalized in Serious Multi-Vehicle Crash in North Haven: UPDATE

Firefighters had to extricate patients from the vehicles in the early Friday morning crash.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — In an 11 a.m. update, North Haven Police say the earlier motor vehicle accident investigation in the Dixwell Avenue and Ridge Road area is complete and all roads are now open for thru traffic.

Four people were hospitalized following a serious multi-vehicle crash Friday morning in North Haven. Firefighters and paramedics responded at about 6 a.m. to the intersection of Dixwell Avenue and Hartford Turnpike to find four cars crashed and five people involved.

Fire officials say a preliminary investigation suggests that a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling Westbound on Dixwell Avenue when it was involved in a crash with a 2005 Toyota Rav 4.
