Frances (Affie) Zullo Priolo obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Frances (Affie) Zullo Priolo, 87 of East Haven passed away peacefully at the Landing of North Haven on February 3, 2026. She was born May 25, 1938 in New Haven to Anthony and Anna (Sicignano) Affie.

Frances is the loving mother of Alfred J. Zullo, III (Roseann) of Madison, Anthony Zullo of East Haven, Sharon Priolo (James Nesdale) of North Haven and Paul W. Priolo Jr. of East Haven. She was the proud grandmother of Alfred J. Zullo, IV (Julie), Joseph H. Zullo (Danelle), Jason Zullo (Lisa) and Candice Mott (Glenn) along with four great grandchildren she adored. She is also survived by her sister, Lu Marshall (Kent) of Cheshire.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul Priolo Sr. (2019) and a sister, Josephine Cassella.

Frances loved to travel, and Florida was her favorite destination. She traveled to Italy with her sister Josephine for three weeks. The two of them were inseparable. She was a great cook, and it was her food that helped her land her husband Paul, with whom she was married for 51 years. She retired from Eagle Leasing in 2010, after over twenty years of service. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She was a member of the Annex Club and the Jaycees.

Family will receive friends on Monday February 9, 2026 from 8:30AM to 10:30AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Her funeral procession will then leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for an 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 355 Foxon Rd. (Route 80) East Haven, with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
