Goodwill Hosting Hiring Day In North Haven
Goodwill of Southern New England plans on hiring 75 new employees and will host a hiring day at its headquarters in North Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — Goodwill of Southern New England will hold a hiring day at its headquarters at 432 Washington Avenue in North Haven on Sept. 25.
The organization is “looking to hire new team members who want to make a difference in their community,” according to a news release.
The organization plans to hire 75 new employees, according to officials.

“Goodwill has been a significant employer and a vital social service organization in south-central and eastern Connecticut, as well as Rhode Island with a history reaching back to the civil war,” said H. Richard Borer Jr., president of Goodwill of Southern New England. “Goodwill offers many exciting career opportunities and the benefit of working for an organization that is giving back to the community. The Goodwill Hiring Day allows us to connect people with these opportunities and guide job seekers through the application process.”
Goodwill will offer information and immediate interviews for local job seekers across retail, donated goods, and mission related industries, according to the news release.

There will be many full and part time positions at Goodwill locations across the region that will be filled through the hiring event.
“Goodwill of Southern New England continues its strong commitment to helping people get back to work and move forward following the pandemic,” the news release states. “Those in the community who are struggling to find employment are encouraged to take advantage of this event.”
No appointment is necessary, and walk-ins are welcome from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25. Additional information about job openings is accessible here.
“All COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed during Goodwill Hiring Days,” officials wrote. “Please help us keep yourself and others safe and healthy.”
