CT Council for Education Reform Announces School Winner of Common Core Communications Contest

In 2014, the Connecticut Council for Education Reform (CCER) held a contest to give Connecticut’s public schools and districts an opportunity to showcase the creative and effective methods they have used to communicate with parents about their new Common Core-aligned curricula. Hanover Elementary School, one of three winners, will be hosting a press conference with teachers, parents and representatives of CCER to describe its successful approach to Common Core communications.

Note: Since part of Hanover’s strategy was to make these efforts bilingual, we will hear from Hanover teachers in both English and Spanish.
