Healing for Caregivers of People with Dementia
Thursday, July 16, 2015, 6PM - 8PM Arden Courts Memory Care hosting a free dementia education seminar

Families, caregivers and healthcare professionals are invited to attend this free dementia education seminar featuring Guest Speaker Maria Tomasetti, B.A., M.S., South Central Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, at Arden Courts Memory Care located at 153 Leeder Hill Drive, Hamden, CT 06517.
As caregivers provide care and support for loved ones living with dementia, they often experience periods of grief and/or guilt. This program will explore ways caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias can effectively deal with these feelings during their caregiver journey and experience healing and peace. We will explore ways caregivers can acknowledge their new reality, allow themselves to mourn, join their loved one’s reality and even live with purpose during this difficult time.
Seating is limited so make your reservation early. Adult day care will be provided by qualified staff. Please ask for this service when making your reservation. A complimentary light dinner will be served.
