HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

The North Haven Historical Society is once again sponsoring a Holiday Open House at the Cultural Center, 27 Broadway on Sunday, December 7th. This year’s Open House coincides with the Town’s Tree Lighting festivities, and the Historical Society will be participating by decorating a tree at the Park and Rec. The tree’s theme is “Lighting Up North Haven’s Past” and will be decorated with ornaments from various eras. It will also hold coupons for gifts that can be collected at the Historical Society Headquarters!

As before, there will be a new exhibit, music, refreshments, and a selection of items for sale at our Open House. This year’s exhibit will showcase “Christmas Throughout the Ages” - a fascinating look at the roots of our holiday traditions. Also available will be one-of-a-kind gifts personalized to our community - books by local authors, note cards featuring some of North Haven’s historic places, items hand-made by North Haveners, and vintage postcards. Music, goodies, hot cider and free tours of the Historical Society Museum will complete your visit. We’re looking forward to celebrating the holidays with you - come to North Haven’s newly repainted Cultural Center and spend the afternoon among friends!
