Juveniles Crash In Stolen Pickup Truck: North Haven Police

Three juveniles were apprehended in Hamden and arrested, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Three juveniles were arrested after crashing in a stolen pickup truck Friday afternoon in Hamden, according to police. Connecticut State Police advised North Haven Police at about 12:45 p.m. that a stolen pickup truck was exiting Route 15 onto Whitney Avenue.

“Shortly after, we received a phone call the vehicle had crashed and three occupants fled on foot,” North Haven Police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Responding units from North Haven, Hamden and C.S.P. responded. After a search of the area, NoHPD Officers located the suspects on Santa Fe St in Hamden. All were arrested and found to be juveniles.”

The juveniles were all charged with third-degree larceny and conspiracy. The vehicle was stolen from a home in Windsor on Friday morning by suspects burglarizing unlocked vehicles, according to police.
