K-9 Taro Finds Suspect Hiding In Woods: North Haven Police
Three men were seen trying to enter cars overnight in North Haven. They all ran away and one was located and arrested, according to police.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 21-year-old man was arrested after police found him in the woods while investigating a report of three people trying to enter cars during the overnight hours in North Haven. At 3:35 a.m., North Haven Police responded to a State Street apartment complex on the report of three males checking for unlocked vehicles.
All three males ran when they saw police arrive and K-9 Taro responded to assist in locating them, according to police.
Police said Gregory Weston, 21, was located in a wooded area a short time later. He attempted to run again, but officers took him into custody, according to police.

Weston was charged with trespassing and interfering with police. He is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 1.
