Lightning Strike Causes Power Outage In North Haven: Police
There is a downed wire and traffic controls are not working in the area of the lightning strike, police said.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A lightning strike at the intersection of Route 5 and Route 22 (Washington Avenue and Clintonville Road) has caused a power outage, according to North Haven police.
“There is a wire down and the traffic controls are not functioning,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “If possible, please avoid the area.”
